Suggestion:

If you are using fine granules gram flour then add ½ cup semolina into it.

How to make ladoo without microwave.

Ingredients for besan laddu

  • Besan - 250 grams (2 cup) (thick granules)
  • Ghee - 200 grams (1 cup)
  • Powdered sugar - 250 grams
  • Green cardamom - 6-7
  • Cashew nuts or almonds - 15-20 (chopped in small pieces)

How to prepare besan laddu

Strain the gram flour and take it any bowl.

Add ghee and gram flour in a microwave safe bowl and mix well.

Place the bowl in microwave and set on maximum temperature for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes take out bowl form the microwave and stir it nicely with a spoon.

Place the bowl in microwave and cook for two more minutes. Take out the bowl again and stir well.

Place the bowl for third time and microwave for 1 more minute. Stir the gram flour after taking it out from the microwave.

Again place the bowl for fourth time and microwave for 1 more minute. Take out the bowl and stir the gram flour nicely with help of a spoon. Gram flour is now roasted completely; it has turned light brown in color.

Don’t add sugar is this much hot gram flour. Let it get frigid. When gram flour cools down little add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits into it. Take little amount of mixture in your hands and roll giving it a round shape. Place it on plate and like wise make all ladoos. Let the ladoo get frigid.

Microwave besan ladoo are now ready. Serve freshly made ladoo to everyone at your place and store the rest in an air tight container and enjoy eating for up to 2 or more weeks. Eat whenever you feel like eating.
