Ingredients for Spinash and Potato Recipe

  • Spinach - 500 gm
  • Potaot- 250 gm
  • Oil- 1 or 1, 1/2 tablespoon
  • Asafetida- 2 pinch
  • Cumin seed- 1/4 small spoon
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/4 table spoon
  • Green Chilly- 2 to 3 (cut into small pieces)
  • Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 small spoon
  • Salt- (According to taste) 3/4 small spoon

How to make (palak aloo bhujia) Spinach and potato recipe

Wash the spinach and remove the stems of it and again wash it with fresh water. put the spinach in the filter so that the water will comes out from the spinach. Peel the potato and wash it properly.

Cut the potato and spinach.

Put the oil in the pan and heat the pan. Put asafetida and cumin seed in the pan. After cracking of cumin seed, put turmeric powder and green chilli in the pan. Stir the masala with the stirring spoon. Now put potato, spinach, red chilli and salt into the pan. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Cover the pan and cook the recipe for 7 to 8 minutes with low heat. Open the cover and stir the recipe. If the potato is not properly boiled, cook it again for 6 to 7 minutes with low heat. Now you open the cover. You will see the potato has become soft. If the water comes out from the recipe, cook it for 3 to 4 minutes with high heat. Potato and spinach recipe is ready now.

Take out the recipe in a bowl and serve and eat hot with bread, nann and chapatti.
