Prepare the filling to stuff the roll:
Heat oil in a pan and put the chopped vegetables, salt, black pepper and chat masala into it. Mix all the ingredients well. Turn off the flame. The filling to stuff the rolls is ready.
Take a puff sheet and dust with dry flour. Now roll the sheet in thick cylindrical shape with the help of a roller. Roll all the four sheets in the same manner.
Stuff the sheets with the filling:
Take one rolled out sheet and fill it with 2 or 3 tea spoon filling prepared. Spread the filling evenly on the sheet leaving 2 inches from the corners. Now pick up one corner of the sheet and start rolling the sheet to form a cylinder stuffed with vegetable filling.
Grease the tray with little oil and place the rolls into it. Apply orange juice or cream on each roll. The rolls will become shiny brown in colour from the upper surface. Now they are ready to bake.
Bake the Puff Roll:
Pre-heat the oven at 230 -250 centigrade. Now place the tray in the microwave and set the timer for 145 minutes at same temperature.
Once the time gets gets over check the puffs and bake them for another 10 minutes at 200 centigrade.
Vegetarian Puff Roll are ready. Serve them with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
You can use nay vegetable of your choice to make the filling according to your taste and preference. If you kids are fond of sweet, then you can use apple jam as a filler.
