Wash mangoes, dry the water then peel. Cut the mango pulp into big pieces.
Place mango pieces with 1/2 cup water in them to boil on a low flame. When the mangoes get soft then mash them with a spoon, put sugar and back salt then cook till sugar dissolves completely. Add water and cook if chutney seems too thick. If you seen mango fibers in the chutney then remove them using a thick strainer. Add raisins to the chutney, they will bloat in 1-2 hours and are very tasty to eat.
After chutney cools down fill it in a clean and dry container, this chutney can be used for quite many days. If you keep this chutney in the freezer then it will stay fresh for an entire year.
Whenever you prepare Aloo Bhalle, Dahi Vada or any Chat then use Sweet Mango Chutney with all the items.
