Pour the fresh curd in a cloth(silk or muslin) and tie it up. Hang the cloth for 2 hours and squeeze with hands to strain all the water from it.
Dip kesar in the milk and leave it aside.
Take out the curd in a bowl and add sugar, cardamom to it. Mix them well with the curd.
Putthe kesar milk into the curd mixture and whisk well. Save some chopped almonds and pistachios and put the rest of them into the curd mixture.
Shreekhand is ready. Transfer the dish in a serving bowl and garnish with remaining almonds and pistachios. Keep the bowl inside the fridge to chill the recipe for 2 hours. Take it out after 2 hours and serve the chilled Shreekhand to your family in the dessert.
